This course covers from the ancient world through the medieval world of wine. Wine is broadly recognized as the major “civilizing” influence all over the world.
Wine was considered one of the critical economic and cultural influences during the Ancient Period, Medieval Period and Early Renaissance – roughly, from 8000BC to 1500AD. It was a major influence on the development of European culture, which influenced culture in the New World.
This Course meets one night a week, from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, for 10 weeks.
