This New World wine course covers countries “discovered” after 1492 because wine is a Eurocentric invention and was not consumed in any New World country until the Europeans arrived – besides the exception of the “Nouveau-New World.”

You will taste 40+ New World wines as part of this course.

You will learn:

  • Climate, geography and terroir.
  • Wine production techniques by style and region in each country.
  • How to use vintage data, by country and region in each country.
  • Also, wine growing and obligation requirements for each Appellation in the 9 countries studied.
